On Thursday, we’ll close on our new house in Tennessee. New to us that is. The house was built in 1960 and it still wears its 60’s style proudly. See pictures below.

Relocation Preparation

Evan and I begin quite the journey this week as we pack up our house and move out. Our house closes on Monday, July 16th, and I am taking Thursday and Friday off work to pack and clean. We are putting most of our belongings away and will live out of suitcases and our cars (I throw in “our cars” as a last resort as I am quickly realizing all of my stuff might not fit in my suitcase) for the next two and a half months. We’ll be living with three different sets of friends for the first 4 and a half weeks, then it’s off to Alaska, the beach and finally Knoxville. The Chesneys will be oh so kind as to host us for a while until we get a place. And then finally, we’ll be able to recover our belongings. Wish us luck!
